Electronic Motion Systems’ active rectifier products for automotive generators consist of a patented transistor bridge rectifier concept that can be adapted to customer-specific designs to allow better performance, higher efficiency and improved reliability over conventional solutions.

Features include synchronous operation, load dump strategy for a centralized suppression and controlled regulation, including communication exchange with the engine control unit.

Integrated Active Rectifier
The configuration can be adapted to suit delta-wound as well as wye-wound generator configurations. Design solutions for air-cooled as well as liquid-cooled generators are qualified and tested.

The active rectifier can be adapted to fit standard generators and improve the output by up to 25%. Please contact the Auto SBU team to find out how integrated active rectifier products can greatly improve the performance of your generator(s).
